Hi, I’m Isaac Smith, the founder and editor of PC Glance, a website dedicated to all things related to computers, laptops, and technology. Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated by how these machines work and what they can do.
I spent countless hours playing around with my laptop, researching solutions to problems, and discovering new software and gadgets. Following my passion for computer and technology I did my degree in computer science and I’ve been writing about technology since 2020, now I am a full time tech blogger.
On PC Glance, I share my passion and expertise with you through helpful tips, honest reviews, and comprehensive guides. My goal is to help you make the best choices for your needs and preferences, and to keep you updated on the latest innovations and trends in the tech industry. I love learning new things and sharing them with you.
When I’m not writing or testing new gadgets, I enjoy playing video games, watching movies, and reading books. I also like to travel and meet new people.

Since macOS 27, drag and drop can fail on the desktop and in Finder’s icon view. List view dodges it, Apple’s Use as Defaults makes it stick, and the Desktop folder in a Finder window covers the rest.
Macs restart with a kernel panic when a Studio Display XDR runs at 5K and 120Hz. Apple Support called it a software issue with no fix date. The refresh rate change that stopped it for owners.
