Scratched the code off an Apple Gift Card? Apple Support handles codes you cannot read. Photograph both sides, find the serial number, which is not the X code, and keep the receipt.
Locked out of your Apple Watch? The reset takes two buttons in order: the side button, then the Digital Crown, with the watch on its charger. Your iPhone keeps a backup to restore.
CarPlay shows your Apple Music playlists oldest first whatever order you set? Re-sort the playlist on your iPhone with CarPlay open, or open it from Recently Played. Both still work on iOS 27.
Spotlight finds the song but only opens the Apple Music window on macOS 27? Signing out of Apple Music and back in fixed it for a Level 10 volunteer. Let the library finish loading, then try again.
Pages renaming your files on macOS 27? The names come from Finder, not Pages. Untick Suggest File Names under Finder, Settings, General, then rename any batch back in one go.
iOS 27 downloads but says the update is temporarily unavailable? Turn off Low Power Mode, plug in, use Wi-Fi, delete any VPN, then delete the update and download it again. Last resort: a computer.
Notes search finds nothing since iOS 27? Apple Support told one owner it is a bug with a fix coming. Search on icloud.com/notes or on a Mac until the update lands.
The Screenshot action vanished from AssistiveTouch after iOS 27? It moved, it was not removed. Tap Double-Tap under Custom Actions, then Device, then Screenshot.
Split View did not vanish in iPadOS 26. Drag a second app from the Dock to the screen edge, or swipe two windows to the sides. The old dots are now traffic light controls, and iPadOS 27 adds a Window menu.
Phone app opening on the keypad instead of Contacts since iOS 27? Restarting the iPhone several times brought the Contacts tab back for one owner, though for another it returned after a while.
